this is one hundred times sadder. i've only been in two states. well, 3 i guess. cali my whole life. but seriously, been pretty much everywhere you can go. nevada only because i've driven around lake tahoe. and d.c. only because i've had a layover there. can we say, "road trip time"??

In the wee small hours of the morning
While the whole wide world is fast asleep
You lie awake and think about the girl
And never ever think of counting sheep
(in the wee small hours, frank sinatra) just something that was in my head. ;)

woah. what's new with me?? not much. finished up water polo this week and went to a sharks game!! shutout for nabby...horray!! my bestest bro ever totally surprised me on monday with this HUGE picture of jonathan cheechoo in the front room when i came home. it's seriously waaaaaay big. i'm not sure where in my room i'm going to put it. come check it out if you want to count his eyebrow hairs. yeah, it's THAT big.

i was the first person to jump up as he scored. i think the peeps behind me were mad cause maybe i blocked their view of him scoring. hee hee. well, actually, i jumped up as he was shooting it. for some reason, i knew that puppy was going in!! i guess i forgot to include this pic last time. my bad.

cute pic of moon-keys hugging!!

these ones just know how to chill.

i thought that
this was an interesting situation. i can't imagine being so selfish as to not want to give up a dog that is someone else's.

oh, a fun article about kids growing up in the white house. interesting and creative bunch.

this article about cal surprised even me. who would have thought number 11??

wow. i sort had thought that stories like this were fake. arrrrrrrrrrrrrgg!!

and i know that jackson already has this in his blog, but i found the picture awhile back and it's taken me a bit to update. here is the fabulous story. warning: graphic pictures!!

i don't know where this is from. erik emailed it to me. it's from some article. "Bryant's teammate, Shaquille O'Neal, was beaten out for the second straight year by Houston's Yao Ming. The Chinese center edged O'Neal by less than 32,000 votes. "That's cool,'' O'Neal said. "Where he's from there are 2 trillion people.'' But it was O'Neal who got more electronic votes from fans around the world, while Yao had the advantage in paper ballots available in the United States and Canada." okay, it's me again. what an effer. this is the same dude who when he lost to the kings said, "it's only because we were playing 75% and they played 100%." so why in the HELL wouldn't you play 100% and beat them?? this dude seriously boggles the mind. lame.

france is crazy. i can say this because i?m french. they debate having head scarves, but have no problem turning their beloved eiffel tower red for chinese new year?? too much wine for them, mais non.

awwwwwwwwwwww, it's a link to a reallllllly
small baby hippo!! oh, and your moment of zen since it's last. :)
