There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart,
our dreams, and they are made out of real things
like a shoebox of photographs
with sepia-toned loving
Love is the answer
at least for most of the questions in my heart, like
Why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together (better together, jack johnson)

i am super excited that i'm finally getting my pictures organized online, and should have an album up tonight, with the help of mister james!! keep your fingers crossed that this is an easy process!! i didn't take too many while i was in australia, but i wasn't paying attention before i left and apparently had two pics left before my memory was full on my camera. not like it would have mattered, james brought his big ol' camera wherever we were, and was just snappin away!! once i have my pics up, i hope to include a link to his, or possibly steal them so there's an album online.

also, i'm really pumped about getting ready to plan a wedding. i hadn't given it much thought on the plane ride back from sydney, and felt incredibly overwhelmed when everyone was asking me right away about when it would happen, where, what font would be on my invitations...etc. i've been getting several wedding books and magazines from co-workers and lots of advice about relaxing and enjoying being engaged. it's so nice to go through magazines at my own pace, and rip out pictures or ideas that are inspiring. i think i'm going to collage a book with all of them!! cause that makes me happy!! ooohhh, i am going to take a look at a martha stewart binder i bought and try to figure out when i need to do what. luckily, we've got about a year to figure out the details, and i am hoping there won't be too many. i am really only focused on being very happy to marry the man i love with all of my heart, and starting our lives together as husband and wife. i hope that my planning will be quick, not a time to stress out over little things, as this is really a celebration about james and i; not a freak-out fest if someting doesn't go as planned.

advice for the day: do not get a manicure in the morning and clean the backyard in the afternoon. it will only drive you crazy and there are other things in the world to worry about.
