She stares up at the stars when
The stars fell from her hair then
I bent down to collect them
And then she was gone

Oh, I sleep just to dream her
I beg the night just to see her
That my only love should be her
Just to lie in her arms
(sleep to dream her, dave matthews band)

hey hey kiddies. so i've been sort of busy...threw a bridal shower this weekend with the moms for my next door neighbor. fun times except everyone kept grabbing my hand...looking for an engagement ring. hello...find me a man first. then we can discuss a ring. ha ha!!

as most of you know know, i usually try to keep my political views out of my blog...and try to keep it a fun place for updates on me and links to pictures and stories i think my friends would like. i have to make an exception; i NEED to include this cause god told me to. ;)

here's a beautiful picture i just couldn't pass up on. the caption reads: Daisy chain: Water droplets on a rosebush stem reflect a daisy in this close-up photo taken after a brief thundershower in Lancaster, Pa.

and i'm not bashing anyone here, i just wanna give props out to whoever had 1,000 hours on their hands to make this. hella cool.

a moment of silence for our good friend, mike koll. for those who don't know, this is the man who founded the greatest place on earth...the lair.

so this might sound odd, but the dog i had when i was younger was related to president ford's dog. like my dog was the grandpup of liberty (president ford's golden retriever). i found some cool pics. she looks just like my dog. :)

fun story cause i'm a dork.

and, it looks like our questions have been answered. the mysterious blob isn't so mysterious anymore.

weeeeeeeeeeee!! says this polar bear. the caption reads: Spare The Bear Day: A polar bear chills out after the San Diego Zoo blew 18 tons of shaved ice into its summer tundra habitat. The gift snowstorm led to a rash of ursine frolicking -- very unusual for July.

woah, guess what they're bringing back from the 80's.

all i gotta say is eff whoever thought this brilliant idea up. no zito at the all star game?? replaced by that effer clemens?? hello, you didn't receive enough votes you dumbass. damn skankees...i mean yankers, i mean yankees.

this picture is just too adorable. the caption reads: A little help from big brother: Ten-year-old Luke Bader pushes his invention, "The Walk-Along," to help his little brother, Joseph, 4, walk in their home near Jesup, Iowa. The device allows Luke to walk behind his brother's walker and help move his legs. Joseph has a chromosome disorder that has made learning to walk difficult.

awwwwww, sooo cute!! a baby hippo!!

tour de france update for those who didn't see the highlights today, lance sort of took a shortcut!! beloki got into a crash (actually broke his femur) from the melting tar on the road and forced lance off the road, skipping one of the switch-backs. he kept riding...taking his shortcut...waited a second or two for the group he was with to catch up, and hopped back on his bike. it was pretty weird, and fast thinking on armstrong's part. and here's a beautiful picture from a few days ago. caption reads: Wheat roll: The Tour de France pedals its way through the countryside between Montgeron and Meaux.

and now, your moment of zen.
