Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got
I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block
(jenny from the block, j.lo....still in my head from last night...make it stop!!)

horray for rebecca and molly!! i had such a blast yesterday in berkeley/sf with those crazy girls. first, i just want to mention that the bart ride to berkeley was crazy. everyone was really quiet, and almost seemed really sad. i've ridden bart before at that time...with all the commuters...but it was so weird. after we got out of the tunnel, the sunset was so beautiful over the golden gate bridge. i've never seen so many adults smile like little kids. it was a strange moment. but anyway...enough of my obsessing over beautiful sunsets. i found rebecca, and we had dinner at a new top dog!! woohoo!! then, we got ready, went to molly's for alpha phi's invitational. it was a "celebrity" theme...and i could not figure out what i wanted to go as. i was a true biter, and went as "almost famous" with molly. although, i did feel like a prostitute...high boots, little black dress, and fur coat. ow ow!! it did come in handy as we're walking around in the cold in bezerkeley at 2 in the morning. and hello, can rebecca handle half a glass of champagne? no!! how can your tolerance be so low? we'll have to work you up for tomorrow!! hee hee!! so anyway...we were bused to sf at the manhattan lougne. it was weird...i took a little break from dancing, sat down and thought to myself, "if there was a fire in here, would i know how to get out?" we were underground, and don't know if there was a back exit or anything...and a ton of people there, and a really small entrance. my mom told me about this this morning. how crazy/sad is that?

today, my mom and aunt and i went to inga's (my granny's best friend) to thank her for the jewelry and visit for a while. that woman is full of so many fun stories. she was telling us that she's been to 66 countries. can you name 66 countries? geez. little background: she is in love with plants/trees and sells seeds from really rare plants to people all over the world. but all the stories she was telling us were pretty casual for her, "oh yeah, the 4th time i was on the amazon river, we almost died..." or "when fidel castro invited me to cuba..." holy crap. i'm thinking of going back, and really getting more of a history about her...taking notes, finding out when she went where at what time, etc. she also has this AMAZING backyard of plants that i want to take a billion pictues of....

and, tonight was pretty low key with my sisters. :) pizza and sliding doors is just what i needed. "sunday, sunday, someday!!"

a few links...as always. or not as always. hey, let's all go to merced. it's a happening town. hahahahahah, inside joke for me. the caption for the picture reads: Watch me burro my jumpshot: High school agriculture students haul ass after a loose ball during a Future Farmers of America donkey basketball game in Merced, Calif. The players had to hold onto their reins at all times and mount the animals to shoot or pass.

for all my nerdy friends who care about space stuff, this is a cool moon story.

okay, but i really need to get to bed since i only had 3 hours of sleep last night, and i'll have even less tomorrow night...i can feel it...
